With the programme of pre-season friendlies about to start, Steve Morison has added to the Sutton squad for the coming season with the signing of defender Hayden Muller from League of Ireland side Dundalk.

22-year-old Hayden, who was born in Croydon and can play at centre back or right back, was with Millwall as a schoolboy and graduated to the first team squad, making his EFL debut on the last day of the 2019-20 season. He went on to make three more senior appearances for the Lions before spending the first half of the 2021-22 season on loan at Scottish Premiership side St Johnstone. He signed for Dundalk in January 2023 and has made around fifty appearances for them up to last week, with the League of Ireland played in the summer months.
Steve Morison said ”We’ve been working hard all summer to bring Hayden back to South London and I’m really pleased he has been able to come over and join us for the coming season. He’s a great lad and knows some of the players here and will fit straight in. H’s an accomplished footballer with a very good turn of speed.”
We welcome Hayden to Sutton United.
