Sutton reported for pre-season training today and manager Matt Gray welcomed three new additions to join the squad that won last season’s National League.

Defender Joe Kizzi (right in the above picture) has joined us after spending the last two seasons with Bromley. Aged 28, he was previously with Billericay Town, where he was named in the National League South team of the season in 2018-19.

24-year-old striker Ricky Korboa (left) came to prominence with our near neighbours Carshalton Athletic, where he scored 55 goals in 168 games during a six year stay before being signed by Northampton at the start of last season.

The third new face is Alistair Smith (middle), a 22-year-old midfielder who has been signed from Altrincham for an undisclosed fee. He impressed for them against us last season, having signed in January after a two month loan from Mansfield Town.

We welcome all three to Gander Green Lane and look forward to seeing them in action during the season – look out for interviews with all three, and manager Matt Gray, later.
