28-year-old Lee, who was born in Carshalton, was an academy player at Tottenham before joining Wycombe and then Luton, and it was during a loan spell at Boreham Wood while with Luton that he came to prominence, finishing the 2014-15 season as the National League South’s leading scorer and Boreham Wood’s Player of the Year as they gained promotion to the National League for the first time.

He has subsequently played in the Football League for Peterborough, Mansfield, Shrewsbury, Leyton Orient and Bradford, who he joined at the start of last season, scoring their second equaliser in the 2-2 draw with Sutton at Valley Parade.

Manager Matt Gray said: ”I’m delighted to bring Lee to the club. He’s a player I’ve watched for a long time and been impressed with, and locally based, and he’ll add good competition to the forward line for the second half of the season.”

Lee will have the squad number 33.
