This afternoon’s scheduled London & South East Regional League game away to Saltdean was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The reserve and development sides did get their games played with contrasting fortunes. The reserves were beaten 3-2 at Collingwood Recreation Ground despite leading 2-1 at half time, with the Sutton goals coming from Amy Wright and Mica Walsh. However the development side overwhelmed Guildford Saints 14-2. Lily Waters scored four and there was also a hat trick for Lola Dulake. Maisie Clark scored twice and there was a goal apiece for Mollie Sawyer, Holly Westrop, Bonnie Quaintance, Lucy Barry and Ellie Fairlamb.

Next week the first team are in League Cup action at home to Steyning, kick off 2pm, while the reserves and development sides both play in the Surrey Divisional Cup, the reserves at home to Oxted and the development side away to Epsom & Ewell.

Meanwhile the Women’s FA Cup frst round tie at home to Maidenhead United will be played at the VBS Community Stadium on Sunday 12 November, with a 6.30pm kick off.  Earlier in the day Crystal Palace take on Lewes in a Women’s Championship game, kick off 2pm.
