Despite creating plenty of chances, U’s fell to a goal in each half against the Sussex side who gained revenge for U’s 3-2 win at Saltdean earlier in the season. Next week we are away to AFC Acorns in Lingfield.
Our reserves won 2-0 at Reigate in the South East Counties League Surrey Premier Division to stay within three points of leaders Croydon CWFC, who are the visitors to Collingwood Recreation Ground next Sunday.
However our development team went out of the Surrey Divisional Cup against Premier Division Ashmount Leigh, who won 8-1. Next week we face Beecholme Belles, currently one place below us in third, at Beecholme Recreation Ground in Banstead.
