After the disappointment of last week’s FA Cup exit, our women’s team return to their home at Chipstead this afternoon with a visit from Sport London e Benfica in the London & South East Regional League. Benfica were promoted to this level at the end of last season, the sides having met in the Women’s FA Cup last season when Sutton went through on penalties after a 3-3 draw. The previous season we had the better of both league matches on our way to promotion, winning 3-1 at home and 5-2 away. The teams go in to today’s game with identical playing records of two wins and two defeats from four games so far, Benfica above U’s thanks to a superior goal difference.
Kick off at Chipstead is at 2pm, with admission £5 for adults, £3 for concessions (age 61+/students) and £1 for juniors (age 12-17). Under 12s are admitted free with a paying adult or adult concession. You can buy here or pay at the turnstile.
Excellent value season tickets are also available, allowing admission to all our home league games. Prices are £25 for adults, £15 for concessions and £5 for ages 12-17, and you can buy yours here.
An online programme is now available for the game here, bringing you up to date with all the news so far this season on our first team and reserves, who play Farnham Town in Collingwood Recreation Ground today, kick off 2pm. You can click here to read
