Following last week’s win over Newhaven, our women’s team were in action against Sussex opposition again this afternoon and a hat trick from Gabby Buddle-Smith (above) helped us to a 6-0 win at Haywards Heath, making it two wins out of two and putting us second in the London & South East Regional League on goal difference behind Fulham and ahead of Saltdean, the only other sides to have started with two wins so far. Milly Cutler, Caitlin Savage and Beth Humphrey were also on target.
More details of the game will appear in our women’s team section later. Next Sunday we are away to Ebbsfleet United, who also had a convincing win against Haywards Heath last week but whose game today against Fulham was postponed – Fulham instead played and convincingly beat Millwall Lionesses..
