Honours were shared in front of Sutton’s biggest crowd since the opening day of the season, as Scott Quigley gave Wrexham the lead midway through the first half, but Simon Walton levelled two minutes after the interval, forcing the ball in after Tom Bolarinwa’s header had hit the bar. Both sides could have snatched victory late on as Jamie Butler made a fine double save from Akil Wright and Jonathan Franks, while Bolarinwa’s deflected shot was tipped away by Chris Dunn in the last minute, but a draw was a fair result to an absorbing game, if one of few chances.
